Mayzshon:

Mayzshon’s work as a journalist during the Spanish Civil War served as the foundation for his film Guernica. While a critical and box office failure at the time of its release, it is now considered a cinematic landmark, one of the finest war films ever produced.

He is best known for a sting of roles portraying villains in several film noir classics. What most people don’t know is that he also recorded three jazz LPs, and is an accomplished photographer.

For two weeks in 1959, Mayzshon guest hosted the Tonight Show, covering for an ailing Jack Parr.

Mayzshon now lives in Key Largo.
